While primarily a cabin-type resort, there are 3 very nice RV sites available. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool, great views of Bull Shoals Lake, boat access, nice simple store. Wonderful rural setting with lots of trees.
This probably WAS a nice place LONG ago - but has been neglected. Really poor maintenance. VERY poor roads, lots of mud, sewer plugged (not a fun thing - guess how you discover that!) Won't EVER return.
Great value for the money. Site was level and utilities were top-notch. Friendly staff. Humorous twist on campground rules was entertaining, but still clearly conveyed the message.
This park looks to have been a fairly nice property years ago, but has been left to deteriorate. Memberships have been sold throughout the years, so some folks are trying to get their money's worth and either live or keep their rigs stored on campsites. Poor choice if you're looking for a decent park.
If you're looking for a resort campground, this isn't it. But, if you're looking for a good place near the Kansas City metropolitan area, this is a good choice. Location is the attraction here. Facilities, such as laundry and showers, are adequate and clean. We've stayed here numerous times and have always found the owners/managers to be helpful and friendly.
Stayed here under a Resorts of Distinction (ROD) membership. Was relegated to one of two designated sites for ROD, both of which were very unlevel. When we requested a more level site (many were available), was flatly refused. Roads need much work; there are many ruts and potholes.
This is a fairly nice property which needs to be spiffed up some. Has potential, but access to some of the amenities are inconsistent. Internal roads need better maintenance. Highway noise can be annoying.
